The term “van life” has become such a buzz phrase in the past year, and nomads Wes and Enes were at the forefront of that movement… just not in the locations you’d imagine! Weslie Finnerty and Enes Ozekin comprise @compass.couple, a partnership submerged entirely in love, art, and movement. We talk about how fate came into play (in a surprise twist!) and led them both to a new beginning, one where they packed up everything and moved across the world to travel and discover everything together. From going viral trying to save a puppy in Turkey to getting engaged in front of the Sphinx, this is an episode for anyone longing for adventure, searching for inspiration, or simply wishing to listen in on a conversation between three friends about life, cosmic connection, and how things can change in a matter of moments. About Wes and Enes:
We are Wes and Enes of @Compass.Couple. We were both born and raised in Denver, Colorado and lived in the same neighborhood. Infact, we went to the same school, shopped at the same grocery store and had a bunch of mutual friends. But we never actually met. That is until 2017 when we both happened to be traveling through Amsterdam at the same time and ran into one another. We spent a few days as friends exploring the city, then returned to our lives in the US. A few months later, we were reunited and the rest is history. We fell madly in love, worked our asses off, saved up as much as we could and sold everything we owned to prepare for our first grand adventure; Van-Life in New Zealand. We left the US in the Summer of 2019 and have been traveling the world full time ever since! We both work in the digital marketing industry Monday – Friday and earn our income while on the move!
